This is a great start; however my personal opinion is that the protocol you're on isn't enough to do it.
If you have a tough case like me, and I have the worst my doctor has "ever seen", you'll need to add foods that are warming and spices that are warming to your diet. These will in effect negate the dampness in the body caused by candida.
Realize that Sugar elimination is just one part of the equation (in my experience).
So as an example, I eat millet and quinoa baked in a glass pyrex pan with dried ginger, berbere powder (from the eithiopian store), cut up leeks, and turmeric. My body herxes every time I eat this. All of these are warming, antibiotic, and extremely drying out of the candida.
I have eliminated half of my candida in a week and a half following this protocol.
