I am new here I was started reading here after chasing DMSO treatment for interstitial cystitis, so pardon me for asking, but how much vitamin D do you folks dose with?
Do you use the 1,000iu per 25 lbs. of body weight formula developed by the mult-specialties researchers on vitamin D to enable a greater than 60 ng/mL 25(OH)D serum level and subsequent protection level (cancer prevention at 60 ng/mL. according to PubMed research) taken with a fatty meal (good fats count!). SO one can dose from a newborn child to an obese individual and get it RIGHT without risk of over-dose and hitting the sweet spot in the serum level test, 25 hydroxyvitamin D or do you just take 5,000iu a day if you are an adult?
