Re: Die off or something else?
Hey Rossy,
This will be my first post but I have been a CZ reader for about a year now. Sometimes dealing with things like a systemic candida problem seem like they will never end!
I know for I strongly believe I have had an overgrowth since a young age(I'm 34 y/o now), but only in recent years did it really start to go into full swing; eg sexual dysfunction, memory and learning problems (where I used to have a very sharp memory), jock itch/rash, burning/tingling after urination, depression, mood swings, fatigue, muscle aches etc etc.
I believe when dealing with candida overgrowth, especially systemic, which is what it sounds like you are probably suffering from, its best to approach from multiple angles at the same time. One of the best approaches I have found so far was written by a CZ member and can be found here

I didn't follow everything he said, such as not using probiotics at first (which I did). I also didn't use some of the supplements he recommends, namely the SF722 and Dr Shulze. Intestinal Form 1 and Intest Form 2. I didn't have the money instead but found Mag 07 to be pretty cheap and very effective to get things moving down and out =)
Our gut is the foundation of our health and when it is not properly absorbing/digesting the food we give it everything else is going to go to shit! I love the link I posted because the very first thing he lists is to get things moving and cleanse out your bowels (SMALL and LARGE intestine).
This is a great place to start and you are already ahead of the game since you have been following a strict(apart from those starchy veggies =P) anti-candida diet. I think what you need to do now is to cleanse your digestive system of all the years of built of waste and abuse so that food you are consuming can provide your body with the nutrients it so desperately needs to fight this thing!
You may want to look at adding a supplement like l-glutamine to help repair any damage done to your gut by the overgrowth. I tried to post an external link but it wouldn't let me yet :( If you google 'l-glutamine leaky gut superhero' and choose the first link it gives great info on how to use it.
This, combined with some common really powerful natural antifungal foods and probiotics should start to help beat back and win your fight against this monster!
Since I started following the protocol in the link I posted, I feel worlds better and am making progress each and every day! Best of luck in your trials and journey =D
