you should drink at least half your weight in ounces of water a day.
even more if you are exercising.

why are you doing it?
if you are feeling cranky that is another detox symptom.
also your body could be retaining fluid because its washing out your cells.
when i drank more water i felt puffy and cranky and then all of a sudden it just went away. think positive and think drink more water to get that retention gone.
