It's not just "a bit of pulp ' it is a lot of pulp if you are doing all your lemons that way. You are taking in a lot of fiber which the body has to produce hydrochloric acid to digest. One of the properties of lemon juice is it's alkilinizing effects so when your body has to produce acids to digest fiber that will counteract those effects. Then there's the issue of cranking up the peristaltic action in your intestines and colon to move that fiber out.
