Re: Parasite that looks like hair

I can only imagine having a doctor husband in this specialty must not be fun when you know you are ill and suffering! It would be hard to not take it personal. To his credit , you have continued seeking medical help. My husband makes fun of me and yells about what an embarrassment I am, and to stop going to the doctor. Your husband must love you very much. To not be believed is almost the hardest about being sick. My husband has yelled, screamed, threatened, been abusive mentally and emotionally, turned my kids against me, rolled his eyes and called me crazy more times than I can count. After almost 4 years I don't care any longer what this is called, go ahead and call me mental! Just make it stop! (However, I am seeing a psychiatrist for depression meds, who would not be depressed when something takes over your life.) I would happily accept any diagnosis except delusional parisitosis, which my psych tells me, this is not. The meds would have helped delusions! Good luck and best wishes to you! Let everyone know if you learn anything from the medical field. Your husband being a doctor who loves you will definitely, hopefully, cause answers or opinions be generated. Atleast believed!
