It is so ironic.

The people have elected one of the richest men in the world, who once went bankrupt and then got bailed out by the Fortress Group, which is run by even more of the richest people in the world, because they were tired of getting swindled by the rich... Duh...

And the people who voted for him believe that he can make the nation great again, when he has no choice but to dance like a puppet on a string for the Fortress that bought him. They own him.
