I have also had my nostrils so plugged that little was able to come thru using the neti pot.

But keep trying. I use distilled water, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 5 drops of Lugol's Iodine 5% in my neti pot.

You could also buy a nebulizer with a face mask or nose attachment to get the medicines into your sinuses. It's ok to nebulize Lugol's--start with only 2 drops and work up. Tweet
