Because I am down the roads (another) 3 months, I have experimented with some supplements. I decided to post it, as it may (hopefully) contain some valuable info, if anyone ever may bump into this topic (while experiencing the same issues). What I lately found out was something regarding vitamin A (not the carotene one).
My Multi contains about 5000IU of vitamin A (3000IU is beta-carotene and 2000IU is Retinol).
However, I never took extra vitamin A, because I was scared of overdosing or experiencing side-effects. However, I took some cod liver oil (which also contains vitamin A, 3000IU). I already took alot of fish oils, so it shouldn't be the omega 3 affecting anything. The only difference, is the extra vitamin A in it. This would put me at 5000IU of retinol and 3000IU of beta-carotene (that's pretty much 8000IU, I still don't know if this is alot but I am scared of continuing this dose).
HOWEVER, the big difference is that alot of my Acne has cleared up (not that it was bad, but I clearly had some pimples) over the past days. And it feels that the stuck feeling in my thyroid has become less too (altough I need to take the dose for a longer time to actually know if it's going to lessen that feeling, it might aswell be a placebo effect hehe. The pimples however really did clear up, as my skin also feels alot smoother now. Never thought this extra vitamin A would make that much difference.
