Depriving candida of sugars causing itchy flare ups?

I'm wondering if Candida sometimes flares up and causes itching because it's being deprived of sugars so it's moving around in search of it?

Sometimes it seems like that to me; for instance I've been doing a parasite cleans and using herbal antifungals, taking probiotics while having a banana per day with no itching but as soon as I stopped the bananas a candida flare up occurred.

I read that totally depriving it of sugars can make it spread out in search of it and that it's better to have a little, such as a few blueberries or raspberries. What's your opinion?

I don't want advice about not eating bananas please because I've been fighting Candida for years on and off so I know about things like that.
