Dr Wilson recommends up to 6 kelp supplements a day I believe, which is what I take and have done for a few years. Each pill of Nature's Way Kelp has 600 mg kelp, 300 mcg iodine. I suggest building up to that amount slowly. Iodine can help the body eliminate chlorine, and so you may get some symptoms of that, but it doesn't last long. If I remember correctly I had mostly a metallic taste in my mouth for a few weeks but it passed as the chlorine left.
