Hi! So, I am now 11 hours into my 18-day weight loss fast. It's not a true water only fast because I am still taking my usual supplements, ADHD med, teas, and tonics. This fast is dedicated physically to weight loss for health reasons, mentally to fun, and spiritually to tranquility.
I've fasted water only and juice many times before for short periods. I've done a ton of 4 day fasts. This is the longest fast I have ever undertaken.
I always find it hard to start fasting because I usually forget at some point during Day 1 that I am on a fast. I almost forgot a few minutes ago, but miraculously remembered.
Starting weight is 197.8 lbs. This is obese. I'm working towards getting down into the merely overweight category. I was thin for the vast majority of my life, so I am confident that I can lose the weight. I'm just a faster at heart, so I want to do this because I enjoy it.
I will be doing some moderate exercising just to keep myself supple. I will be dancing, pedaling, and stretching for brief periods each day.

P.S. I'm also trying to remineralize a tooth, so I will be oil pulling, brushing with all-natural toothpaste, and using natural mouthwash on some days. I'm also having this posted to water-only solely for accountability purposes. I am in no way trying to pass this off as a 100% water fast. I just need to involve as many pro-fasting people as possible for the support that I need to reach my goal.
