This is strictly my own view so take it or leave it.
First off you are waaaay over thinking this whole thing and everything you have written here sound like all the reasons or excuses you have to fail. There is action and there is thinking about action. Action will ALWAYS win. It is the doing of that gets results so the best advice I can give you to clear your mind of all these preconceived notions and expectations cause they will certainly not help you in any way shape or form. Look only ahead. The past no longer exists and only the future and what is ahead is relevant.
The mindset should be not that you are running from your past but that you are running to somewhere new and wonderful where you will be the best that you can be.
Read the book follow the instructions to the letter and dive right in. All this talk and thinking is not getting anything accomplished. Keep reading and educating yourself. You will go through highs and lows on any cleanse.
The lows are part of cleansing as your system will be releasing toxins so try not to whine and just see it a a good sign and start drinking lots of water and lemonade to help the system keep the toxins diluted. Just suck it up and press on.
You are just gonna hafta be patient cause it will take time. Obesity is not a compartmentalized issue in and of itself it is a *HEALTH* issue and just the manifestation of many possible causes. No form of fasting is a good way to loose weight without resigning yourself that what you do after is a crucial and integral part of any diet or weight loss program.
The MC is a great way to jump-start a weight loss program and you will loose weight but it is NOT a weight loss diet. No form of fasting is without the understanding of the long term maintenance and lifestyle change that is required. This applies to any and *ALL* diets. There are no magic diets or pills. There are no shortcuts.It will take educating yourself focus and most of all time.
