Hi; what you have made is the real Lugols; approx 6,5 mg per drop (depending on the dropper size) The 5% Lugols count only the Iodine (not the iodide)

The 12 % you ordered; in uk/eu they count in also the potassium iodide; so it would be the 15% that is similar to lugols. I had some confusing purchases the first years because of this.
