Do you have a dental appointment already. I would think that they would want to put you on Antibiotics before they pull. Swollen lymphnodes usually means infection. Are they aware of that at your dentist?

I personally would start taking grapefruit seed extract several times a day and swisch my mouth with a grapefruit seed extract solution several times a day. But that's just me.
