Since hiccups are caused by pressure on the diaphgram, I am assuming that when this is the main symptom, it points out to Tapeworm as this is one of the biggest parasites and most likely to cause this.
Anyone experiencing hiccups? This is probably my most obvious sign. It first starts with very loud and harsh belching.
I noticed that belching/hiccups/nausea and passing gas/defecation are the two sides of the same coin. Imagine a vector going up or down. You want to take herbs to push it down to create gas and defecation.
PS I experimented taking cayenne pepper powder filled capsules and eating hot curries, but it didn't work that well on its own. However I had good effects eating a curry that is both very spicy and quite oily (clarified butter).
The oil makes the hot pepper stay in your GI tract for a longer time and spreads it more evenly. It also coats the GI tract so that the pepper doesn't burn.
