I know this is a reply to an old message but is intended for future readers.... a colonoscopy will not show any parasite worms which grow and develop inside the small intestine....l which is like 99% of all trematodes: flukes and schistosomes. The only time you’ll find those in the colon, is when they’re driven out of the small intestine and on their way out after some drug or natural treatments have dislodged them from their usual place of residence and they will not be attached to the colon walls either, because they’ve been crippled or killed by treatment and if they were still alive enough to try to reattach anywhere, they’d try to swim back upstream to reach the small intestine. The only scope that will see them there is the little camera pill that you swallow and the doctors. record its video as it travels thru your entire G.I. tract.
