Flushes were great from 1950-2000. We have more tools now.
They only work mechanically. For some people this is enough to restore the system, but for other people not. And of course the success and number of flushes is completely individual.
There is no reason for people to do overnight flushes. I have no idea why this continues. Daytime flushes are much much much easier.
Epsom Salt is just too harsh on the system. Switch to magnesium glycinate or malate or citrate or orotate. Glycinate or orotate are the two preferred forms.
When you do daytime flushes you can clear enough of your system by night time so that you can sleep.
Some other things to look into are beet protocol, supplemental taurine, and supplemental tudca to restore bile flow and help prevent stones from reforming. Proper body temperature is also very important for keeping bile soluble as stone formation is downstream from hypothyroid.
Daytime coffee enemas work well for some people instead of the flushes.
