Irinotecan liposome injection and its use

Irinotecan liposome medication is used to treat advanced or metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma as second-line therapy, in combination with fluorouracil and leucovorin. It is basically experimental for brain tumors, breast cancer, bilary tract cancer, colon cancer, and lung cancer. Irinotecan liposome injection is recommended in 43mg/10mL single-dose vial for intravenous use. Consult your doctor before starting this treatment as there are some side effects of the same like severe hypersensitivity reaction and not recommended in pregnancy.
