Adcetris: Produced in Ovary cells

The medicine Adcetris contains Brentuximab Vedotin, a CD30-directed antibody-drug conjugate (ADC). ADC consists of three components:
The chimeric IgG1 antibody cAC10 is specific for human CD30.
The microtubule disrupting agent MMAE.
A protease-cleavable linker that covalently attaches MMAE to cAC10.
Brentuximab Vedotin for Injection is supplied as a sterile, white to off-white, preservative-free lyophilized cake or powder in single-use vials. The medicine, Adcetris, is available in single-dose vials in 50 mg strength for intravenous administration. The active ingredient in the vials is Brentuximab Vedotin with inactive ingredients trehalose dihydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, citric acid monohydrate, and polysorbate 80 and water for injection. Administer Adcetris as an intravenous infusion over 30 minutes every 3 weeks until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity.
