Re: Master Cleanse

Sorry to be the one to discourage you from your enthusiasm, but the cleanse really shouldn't used for weight loss. Actually, it's a real poor substitution for diet. Losing weight is a pleasant byproduct of the cleanse, but if you don't up your metabolism through diet and exercise when you get off the cleanse, you will gain the weight back. The best purpose for the cleanse is to clean out your organs, give your digestion a rest, and also as a method to kick start you into a new way of eating. If you eat a healthy Diet when you come off the cleanse along with a good exercise program, you will lose more weight in the long run and have more success in keeping the pounds off. Using the cleanse as a method for weight loss will cause your weight to "yo-yo" and that's NOT good. If you continue to eat healthy after your cleanse, I see no reason to do additional cleansing beyond the recommendations. Actually, you will lose more weight once your metabolism resets and you increase your activity! Get the fire's burning and stoke them with good fuel and exercise and those pounds will fly off your body!!

peace
