A good friend of mine who's quite knowledgable about these things, and has helped more than a few others concerning Candida, gave me a regimen the ohter day. Hope this info. isn't too boring for you guys, since you're probably pros at this kind of thing by now.
Ok- here goes. He told me to avoid: sweets (obviously), with the exception of raw honey, wait at least an hour to an hour and a half after eating fruit before eating another kind of food to let it d igest properly, large meals (that ferment in the gastro-intestinal tract, etc.), yeast and products that contain yeast. Also, he recommended taking HCL with Pepsin along with a small amount of warm water 15 minutes before a meal, and also shortly after the meal. He said to take a probiotic (with at least 4 strains) in the evening, before retiring. And lastly he recommended eating at least 4 small meals a day, and that I should strictly follow the guidelines of food combining during this period.
He said that in about 3 months, the Candida should be gone from my system, if I follow his guidelines.
What do you guys think? Is this a good protocol to follow? Is there anything you care to add to his list (or subtract from it)?
