I agree with most, except the raw honey, even raw it is a sugar. It's just not as bad as refined. Definitely the key is in the diet. Fruits are also Sugar which can ferment. When I started I was only allowed Protein(1/3 of diet) to vegetables(2/3) of diet. The only other things I was allowed were plain all natural unsweetened yogurt with a little unsweetened coconut for flavor, and a little real butter and real cream for dairy. All other dairy is not allowed. The only oils I was allowed are Canola, Olive and Sunflower. You should have at least 50 grams of protein a day. It can get kind of boring, but how bad do you want to feel good. The hardest and most important part is the carbs, never have them with your protein at the same meal. Basically everything we grew up eating is wrong, etc. meat and potatoes, mac and cheese, pasta and meatballs...you can eat meat and eggs every day(bacon, ham, sausage, steak...)it's when you add the hashbrowns and breads you get into trouble. Also, stay away from grains during your cleanout period, especially wheat, corn, rye, and oats. Hope this has helped. Good luck, Smiling again Donna.
