Re: Candex- seems to work well

I've been using it for 5 weeks. The cheapest I've found it is $37 for 120 capsules (30 days) at It ranges from that price to $50-$60 per 120 caps.

Candex contains 6 enzymes, mainly cellulase and hemicellulase, that are supposed to dissolve candida cell walls (made of cellulose) thereby wiping out the candida, as well as dissolving a few other things that supply food to the candida. These enzymes work on vegetable matter and not animal products. So it's supposed to be taken at least 2 hours after your last meal and again 1 hour before breakfast to prevent it from being used up on vegetables you've eaten.

It definitely works but not necessarily fast (for me, anyway). I've been noticing gradual improvement all along and "white fuzz" in my stool since about the second week of taking it. But I seem to have a pretty systemic candida problem and leaky gut syndrome to a great extent, so I think it's going to take a while to get rid of all of it. I think a cure depends most importantly on your diet; the Candex alone won't get rid of candida. At least it does seem to help and there is progress!
