Re: Candex- seems to work well

"Candex contains 6 enzymes, mainly cellulase and hemicellulase..."

I'm not familiar with Candex, but this sounds a lot like a multiple digestive enzyme product...??? If so, these simply mimic pancreatic juices, although some folks with candida have impaired pancreatic output, so such supplements can help. There's a number of such formulas out there (currently I'm taking Great Earth "Extra Strength Ergozyme"), with cellulase a standard ingredient, and sometimes hemicellulase as well, plus a boatload of other enzymes. Ergozyme costs $35 for 210 caplets, a two-caplet dose per meal. Enzymedica's "Candidase" contains 60,000 CU cellulase and 200,000 HUT protease (the only two ingredients) and costs $25 per bottle of 42, two capsules with each meal. They also have a larger, more cost-effective bottle as well.
