Is Nystatin only by prescription?

If so, how can I get my doctor to prescibe it. I showed her an article on Candida that seemed to describe my symptoms. She said it was crazy and old wives tale-that you can't have "just a little candida infection" if it was present at all then it would kill me.

However, I spoke with a Colon Hydrotherapist/Dietician and they said it sounds like a Candida problem.

Is it time I see a new doctor? She's told me my Epstein-Barr is still active after almost a year and that is what my problem is-but she can't fix it. It sucks to feel this way :( Tweet
