I have not used threelac and I am still in the process of getting rid of this yeast infection. When I read that you were a newbie to the forum and how long you had it, I thought I would pass along some information...
I have had a yeast infection for over ten years. I have systemic candida and I would suspect you do as well.
Most of us long-time candida sufferers have lost a fair amount of weight on the candida diet! But, it is important to do. There are little things we can do to help retain some weight (if interested, please ask).
It is important that when you do the candida diet (eliminating dairy, wheat, sugar, yeast and gluten) that you take various supplements (vit E,C and A in addition to magnesium and Essential fatty acids...there are more), probiotics and antifungals.
It is also important to clean out the body internally (yeast feeds off toxins/junk) by starting out with a bowel/colon cleanse (pysyllium and Bentonite clay mixtures), kidney cleanse and liver cleanses. I did not start to see any progress (eliminating yeast) until I started doing liver cleanses. Indepth information on all these cleanses and other information for supplements and antifungals can be found on this form...ask questions and RESEARCH old posts! Ensure you read much of 'the Best of Shelley'. A link for this can be found at the top of the page.
There is a lot of other information to be explored! I hope you stay with us as everyone here offers much support!
