I LOVE LOVE LOVE tahini on buckwheat cakes. Mmmmmmmm. I like to bake simple buckwheat pancakes, about 2" in diameter, then toss them in a 300 degree oven for about 20 minutes. Makes them crispy/chewy. Then I add tahini or maybe turkey and mashed avocado (for those not too sensitive to it) with another cake on top like a sandwich. Serve it with a big spinach salad and some sliced tomato. Heaven.
