Blood pH and die-off

Just wondering, for anyone who might know:

If die-off throws extra toxins into your system, wouldn't that likely also make your blood pH readings (tested with litmus strips) more acidic? I was reading generally higher up until a few days ago, and I have a tendency the last couple of days to read much more acidic. Of course, this is also "that time of the month".

It seems like a logical connection to make, as I am still feeling quite good save for some superficial die-off symptoms such as sinus drainage, sensitive lymphs and extra mucous in my throat, a small canker sore and some mild muscle stiffness.

Regards,
JF
