Re: Could this be true?
You will also want to be sure that your bowels are moving regularly. Once for each meal is a good goal, but at least 2 times per day. If they are not, you can try using psyllium and
Bentonite shakes, they are cheap, and can be drunk with water(not too tasty) or vegetable juice if you have omitted fruit juice. I would also recommend trying a supplement of molybdenum, 300mg per day in divided doses. It is very helpful with the brain fog, and helps to breakdown the toxins given off by candida, both alive and dying. I use a liquid form that I can put 6-12 drops of in my water for the day. It helps me kill 2 birds with one stone. I have found everything that I have mentioned at iherb.com. They have free delivery for $40 or more, and regular shipping is only $4 if less than $40. And no, I don't work for them, I just know what it is like to be on a budget while in school.
And yes, it is quite normal to feel ill, and miserable for a few weeks, at first.
Recently, I am suggesting to anyone with digestive problems to look into gluten-intolerance. With your continued bloating while on the diet, something else may be triggering this problem. Check your supplements for gluten, many contain it. Also, you may want to get a celiac panel done by your doctor, just to rule out the possibility. Google celiac disease/gluten-intolerance to be sure.
Good luck.
