PS, you are an adult, and you seem to be very well informed on the subject of candida. So, I would not presume to suggest what you should be eating. However, for myself, I will not be eating corn, in any form, this Thanksgiving. Although it is gluten free, many knowledgable people place corn in the same catagory with grains. Without question corn is a source of carbohydrates. Perhaps it is because I was so very sick with the candida, but I will not take a chance on any foodstuff that might derail my recovery. Total recovery for me means, the candida has been reduced to its' former small percentage of intestinal flora, lactobateria and other benefical flora have been firmly re-established in the intestines, my body has recovered from vitamin and mineral deficiencies caused by the candida, and my immune system has fully recovered to it's previous vigor. Then, and only then, will I cautiously add unnecessay carbs to my diet.
