Re: Candida kids program needed....Thx!
My oldest (6) displayed candida symptoms, my youngest(2) has none at all. The six year old was hyperactive until the age of four. I put him on a low GI diet that was not as severe as the candida diet (i.e still allowed some fruit) and found with allergy treatment the problem subsided. He now eats
Sugar occasionally and can eat white wheat and potatoes.
Many of his symtpoms were actually allergy symptoms, e.g mouth ulcers, diarrhea. The black rings under his eyes were down to
additives and candida.
I found out the hard way that his problems were multi-fold. I started on Sue Dengate's failsafe diet that identifys behaviour problems in children due to food (and any food can do this, even protein) - it is in my opinion the only way to test children accurately for allergies and intolerances. Type her name in your search engine and you will find her easily, she gave me personal support free of charge for the duration of the diet and even pointed out the possibility of candida and hypoglycemia.
Once we had completed this we still found his mood swings intolerable. I then started a lower GI diet and he quickly quietened down.
Children get better much quicker than adults, it seems. He is now top of his class and a real cheeky monkey!!!
