As far as I am aware, Cayenne Pepper oxygenates the blood. I use it occasionally but I find it hard to consume; for example, a teaspoon or so used as flavouring on a brown rice dish is fine but each time I have tried to drink a teaspoon mixed with hot water I have failed. So far I have attempted it three times and each time I only managed to consume 1/3 of a mug. It burns the tongue and throat and after a few mouthfuls I have to give in. Possibly you build up a threshold for it, but as of now I am struggling...
