Re: urinary tract infection??????

Hi #64418 :)

Drink 4 to 10 ounces of cranberry juice a day or take 400 mg of powdered cranberry concentrate twice a day. Snacking on blueberries will also help.
Unsweetened juices only, avoid sugar, alcohol and caffeine.
Your SLIMFAST contains about 40 mg of caffeine.

Snack on pineapple and papaya each day, The bromelain and trypsin in it will be helpful (or get a good bromelain and trypsin supplement if you prefer).

Take at least 500mg of Vitamin C each day, this will make urine acidic, which inhibits bacterial growth in the urinary tract.

50,000 IU of Beta-carotene and 30mg of Zinc each day to increase your immune function, it will also support the mucous membrane.

Since your UTI is recurrent and may be advanced. Make a tincture of equal parts of goldenseal and coneflower.....Take 30 drops four to six times a day.

Since you are drinking water every day, try drinking 4 to 6 cups of a helpful tea each day.
Choose a urinary antiseptic tea such as uva ursi, buchu or thyme leaf.

Or a urinary astringent tea to help tone and heal your urinary tract, such as horsetail or plantain.

Corn silk or couch grass will help soothe the burning you feel in the urinary tract.

Soak a heaping tablespoon of marshmallow root in a quart of cold water overnight, Strain and drink during the day in addition to any urinary tea you are drinking. Drink the cold infused marshmallow root water between drinking the tea.

I also suggest a tincture of cantharis, or a tea made with cantharis if you have restlessness and, experience a burning sensation with decreased urine flow even with a strong desire to urinate, and have increased sexual desire despite symptoms.

Do not take Vitamin B Complex or any vitamin B while taking any natural or synthetic anti-biotics. The 3 tinctures I suggested are natural anti-biotics.
