Re: What is depression?

Very right you are grzbear, also the disolution of the family unit has created such a feeling of "disconnection" it is very easy to feel lonely, even while amply accompanied.

Lack of spirituality can also contribute to feelings of emptiness - en masse now, since it has become almost illegal to be of any spiritual persuasion.

Fear by the uncertainty of our times, and the future of mankind, our loved ones included - also affects many, even without notice.

I totally agree with "the feeling of entitlement" creating dissapointment and confusion.

Depression is such an important topic, it is good to have open discussions on it.

It really takes a concentrated effort to keep forging ahead and not become overwhelmed at times.
