Hi Julie! Yes I've read the responses to your message and I agree with them! I also USED TO have hair like yours, I thought I had the coarsest driest hair of all humanity! I had hair like wires or straw, and it was also all burned out from dyes too. Then I discovered HENNA and coconut oil and they have worked wonders, now I still have thick hairs (that can't be changed!) but now it is soft and strong and silky and shiny. I thought that would be impossible for me! I use henna on it every month (I have dark hair so it's great for me)(I mix pure natural henna with lemon juice and some lavender essential oil, red wine and rosemary tea, leave it on for 4 hours) and every time before I wash it I put on coconut oil for at least 1 hour, when I wash I don't wash the length of the hair only the scalp, then condition all the hair. And that is all I need! Sometimes I use coconut oil like a leave-in conditioner, just smooth it into dry hair on the length only and leave it in, it makes it shiny but I don't do it often because it makes it look greasy, I only do it when I have a bad hair day. BTW if you don't want red highlights you can use "neutral henna" which has no colour or gives a little golden highlights, or indigo for black hair. I find henna covers grey hairs wonderfully. Enjoy your soft shiny new hair!
