Re: my new partner has herpes..advice please

My opinion is that once you get all of the health issues in check, which I did years ago, you will never have another outbreak.

please see my response to 'sugar coated truth' post.

Also, when i was having outbreaks still, the cues were like clockwork. First itchy, then inreased itchy/burning sometimes, then the blisters slowly form.

if she keeps track of her body well, she should know well in advance of putting you at risk.

there are many people who talk of non_visible lesions and such things, but in my experience back during outbreaks it was quite ovious when something was amiss and none of the women I dated (who all knew of course) had an outbreak. As a great doctor once said to me: "herpes is not a subtle disease". This is true of both the inital outbreak and reoccuring.

My advice is go for it especially if you have something special. Life is short! Walk the path of Love.

plus, a worse case scenario is cold sores of the genitals whch can be compltely avoided with proper health. Would you not date someone because they had cold sores of the mouth? It's the same thing and is quite far from the end of the world..

Best of luck with things,

b with 2 2's
