I don't blame you for remaining anonnymous oh numbered one!
Coconut oil works because it is strongly anti-viral - it is nothing to do with Ph. Coconut oil destroys lipid-coated viruses on contact becuause the fatty acids in coconut oil interefere with the viruses own lipids. This is good news for you because members of the herpes family of viruses are all lipid coated.
Now I don't have herpes - but I do get cold sores (same family of viruses), and I know that coconut oil works extremely well against that virus.
Also the poster above has confirmed that her herpes was kept under control by monolaurin/luaricidin, which is basically a commercial (patented) form of one of the 3 main fatty acids in coconut oil.
So I am certain that coconut oil will have the same effect (at a much cheaper price).
All that remains is for someone to confirm the final piece in the puzzle. Would you be willing to try and then post back your results??
