After the initial healing phase, the burnt places were pink/red for about three months. But after that, most places look normal. At one spot, the skin is slightly more pale than the surrounding skin. But other than that, it doesn't look like a scar.
I described everything as well as I could in the first post-- I don't know exact details like temperature of the tool or precise duration of exposure. I'm pretty sure the latter differed at different sites-- for bigger, nastier-looking lesions, I burned a little deeper and wider. I guess the diameter of the burns averaged about 3 millimeters.
