i'd say try it and experiment to see what works best. i would assume we have parasites up there...why not? the conditions are warm and mucosy so it make perfect breeding grounds. i find it helps, sometimes it goes away for a long while, but my mucous has come back today.

when you do the tincture make sure you highly dilute it cause it hurts! i'm not sure how good the alcohol up your nose is for you.
