I used the capsules last year, not the powder. Followed the directions of the label, but decreased dosage and increased H2O intake to start. Gave it plenty of time (a few weeks) and slowly increased dosage. As I said, it really exasperated the "chemical taste" I get and I stopped using it for that reason. It wasn't worth it for me to continue using it for I experienced an obvious reaction.(used the seed preparation and not the husk). Do you what it is derived from?
Do you know of anything that works the same as Psyllium?
