I have recently discovered that the quality of psyllium husks makes a huge difference! I am not entirely sure but I think one batch of mine was a little off. I dont know if that can happen or not but my new stuff smells sweet and fresh and the old stuff.. a bit stinky and yeasty smelling.

I dont know what you would do with the seed though... grind them?
