I just put oil on to give the seeds a little moisture so they taste better.
Also i forgot to mention that after you roast them you could put them in a paper bag, then sprinkle salt on and shake bag around abit, then you will release some of the oil into the bag.(This before you hull them.)I think you should be able to eat them this way hull and all with the oil on them. Softer and more palatable.
They really do taste good that way.
The hulls can be a bother, though.
Which ever way you decide , good luck and good eating.
I now just buy raw seeds in bulk and they are fine that way as well.
