I haven't been around these forums for quite awhile, but I remember reading about your health saga. (By the way, didn't you have a lot of pets? Hmmmm....) It sounds like you might be on the right track - good luck! I know you were pretty sick at one point. Just wanted to say you're not the only one who had to live with mom & dad longer than any adult should because of these types of health issues, so don't feel like a loser. I stayed with my folks till I was 29, went to college locally part time (forever), because I had chronic severe headaches and didn't have the energy to work as much as I needed to move out and pay for college at the same time. When I finally DID move, I had to go back five years later when I thought my business was going into the toilet. Stayed for 3 years... demoralizing, but allowed me to cocoon in a safe place and continue working on my health issues. Also saved up some money, so I bought a house with my boyfriend of eight years this past August. Plenty of stress ensued and is still ongoing (that's another long story), though I don't... um.... regret it. Growing pains are tough, I guess. Still, I was at my parents' house today and thought, it would be so nice to just sleep here tonight...shut out the rest of the world and the day to day BS.... Just focus on your physical and spiritual healing, don't beat yourself up. You're obviously capable of taking care of yourself, and you'll get back there again!
