Re: clarkia & small children?

In my years of experience - Wormwood is very dangerous for small children. It has a chemical component that acts as a narcotic analgesic. The absinthum in Wormwood causes brain stimulation that can lead to delusion - overuse of Wormwood (too much, for too long, etc.) can lead to severe mental reactions. This is why it was removed as the main ingredient in Absinthe Liquor. Herbs are drugs too, people just tend to forget that herbs can be dangerous if used incorrectly - the FDA has no regulations on herbal supplements and we are not required to list any side effects, interactions, or warnings.

It CANNOT be used by pregnant women because it can cause miscarriage (spontaneous abortion). There are plenty of other good herbs that are great for parasite removal in children - just not wormwood.
I hope this helps!
