Don't be so hard on yourself. I don't believe you have reverted to your old issue. You may need to do a colema or colonic though, to make it easier for your body to return to your previously experienced state of wellbeing.
You may experiment with certain foods to know whether they are really suitable for you or not. I personnally never eat eggs, have not for 32 years, not just because the terrific conditons they are raised in. If heated/boiled, the proteins become coagualted, and therefore useless for the body. If eaten raw, your chances of getting Salmonella poisoning is considerable.
Other non-carnvourous animals such as cows, elephants, horses, etc. don't need to eat eggs from other species to remain strong. My weight has not changed one bit in 32 years, and I never eat protein foods. Like these animals, I make my amino-acids/protein from the nitrogen, oxygen, carbon, and hydrogen molecules. It is a matter of efficiency of the digestive system and the liver, that determines how well the complex plant foods are digested and absorbed. My main food is cooked vegetables, preceeded by salad at lunch time and some grains. Most of my food is vegetables. Being Pitta myself, it is enough to nourish and maintain a strong body.
If you soak 10-12 almonds and some pumpkin seeds, and chew them properly, you should be able to make better use of them.
