Re: Shelleycat--enzymes

Hiya Jenkins/Kellie and welcome to CureZone! So glad you found us. :)

I didn't find that Nystatin did anything for me, but recommend trying it for 2 weeks if you can get it cheap. (I went to Tiajuana LOL! since it's only 2 hours away from me. ) :) Candida gets resistant to antifungals pretty quickly.

I used the Yeast Connection book too, and especailly aprpciated the cooking book. :) I made a LOT of those recipes!

It's interesting that pancreatin is giving you gas. It could be a good sign, it could also be that you are eating gaseous things that your body isn't ready for yet, such as raw broccoli.

Gas is a natural part of digestion, but chronic gas is not a good sign. Expelling gas right before a BM is totally normal, as putrefecation continues in the colon thanks to microbes. I did find that when I took enzymes and was cleaning my colon out, that I had more gas then normal for about 2-3 weeks of being socially inappropriate. ;)

Gas and bloating IS because the old impacted stuff gets stirred up, the bacteria go to work, and presto, more gas. It helps to do a series of colonic irrigations, take extra fiber, and eat appropriately for good digestion. Pancreatic enzymes is just one of many things you can do for your digestion. Have you seen my list? Have you read Dr. Bernard Jensen 's book on bowel management? Great stuff! :)

Hope that makes sense and answers your question!
