Other possibilities would include any liver congestion or stagnation...from infection, inflammation, toxic overload, sluggishness...even a good night of tippin' the glass can reduce your liver's functional capacity. The true white stools generally happen when a stone is blocking the bile duct and cutting off bile flow altogether...but you can also have a measly dribble of bile that creates the lighter shades...cream, gray, yellowish.
