Re: Thanks, I've decided not to fast. :)

Wow...it's like you are blaming a bunch of strangers for your decision to NOT fast! What's up with that?? I'll show you!! I'll hurt me...LOL!!

I remember your post and I also remember someone suggesting for you to do a search for fasting success stories and you will get the information you are seeking. Did you do that? What "guarantees" are you looking for BEFORE you take it upon yourself to give this a try. Everyone has different results and that is because there are so many influences that dictate the outcome. Some folks don't finish because of mental problems..others don't follow the recipe or cheat and wonder if it will affect them. The very best way to find out what results you can expect is to invest 10 days and try it yourself. Another thing you might want to realize is that in my estimate over 90% of the people posting on here have NOT completed the fast and have no information to provide. I finished my fast last week and I"m still not sure why I'm here posting this message! I guess I'm one of those people that that stuck around after doing my fast to see if I can help others. However, I think most folks get what they want and move on once their fast is done.

I went 21 days on a combination juice and MC. I did the juice only for the first two weeks and then finished with the MC. I wanted to go longer but my schedule and body told me to stop. I lost over 30 lbs and cleared up some chronic heartburn...and I feel great! I actually miss the "clean" and light feeling that I had when doing the fast. Returning to food was fun because of the enhanced tastes. My stomach shrunk so it's takes less food to get filled up. Once I broke the fast I did a couple days of fuit only and then gradually returned to a diet of 100% raw. By doing the fast it got rid of my cooked food cravings and I find doing the raw diet a lot easier and enjoyable.

What else do you need to know in order to give this a try. Maybe you really aren't that interested or you would be half way done by now.
