Let me clarify: Love between a man and a women is really just based on lust though you may also love your mate's personality. You can love a person as a friend based on their personality which is platonic love. I think most marriages will not last if the sex is bad because most relationships are in reality based on sexual pleasure or lust. Now some couples do stay together for a variety of reasons even though the sex is bad but they are miserable IMO.
